When we beat ou and texas then things will change but not till then. The more things change the more they stay the same. We will finish 4th in the confernece behind NU, texas, OU.

hahaha you havent watched long enough... Reggie might as well have been a No. 1 recruit. OU didnt take him. Texas did get the No. 1 in VY. You havent been watching Franchione for long though.

And don't forget, LSU won the MNC in 2004.

A&M has to catch up with UT, OU and LSU.

We also got Reggie long before Vince announced where he was going. And, Vince's stock rose during his senior year. Reggie was the #1 QB when he committed to the good guys.

And, I'm gald we got Reggie. VY is much better than people on TexAgs say, he is a good QB. But, Reggie is a great QB to have. And, I have a feeling that he (and his dad) will show up at every A&M function for the next 10 years, giving us a lot of good publicity and getting the next generation of TX HS QBs to head to COllege STation.

I read somewhere that Reggie McNeal was the #1 recruit in texas but #5 in country. I know it does not make since.

Aggie 83- I look at head to head matchups and unfortunately of the list you have there we were not head to head with texas or ou. I'm not saying we won't win these in the future it's just right now like it or not we are not a program that lands MB or Bright type players. WE come in 2nd which is not bad but recruting is not like horshoes and handgranades

Sorry buddy Lane was a head to head with TX, hell they're still trying to get him. Its not about being a top 5 program, its about being a top 20 program on the rise that can offer playing time.
