For those that have been boosted, how comparable are the symptoms to the second dose?

I was pretty sick for 12+ hours for with the second shot. With the booster, I was exhausted for about 12 hours and kept thinking I was about to feel like crap, but I never did. It was weird.

Just got mine (all 3 Pfizer). At the risk of jinxing myself, so far so good.

I did the Moderna booster last month. No symptoms other than soreness at the injection site for a couple of days.

In contrast, I had chills and sweats with the 2nd Moderna dose.

Booster was more like the first dose for me.

Funny you ask. Got my Pfizer booster yesterday at 4pm. Felt more under the weather today as the day wore on than I ever did after my second shot in April. Very unexpected. I heard that if you did ok on the second, the third was likely similar. Achy, minor chills, slight headache. Don't know if I had a fever. Wife also had hers several hours before me and she now feels normal but didn't this morning.

Maybe a dr can explain this…

I was about half as sick as the second dose and for half the time. I was pretty sick for 48 hours after my second dose. Alll Moderna.

This is not a snarky reply but there is a 5+ page post about booster experiences If you didn't see it. Short version is that side effects vary widely much like initial shots.

First dose (Pfizer) I had no symptoms.
Second dose (Pfizer), I just felt rundown by the end of the next day and went to bed early.
Booster (Moderna) was like the second. Arm hurt a bit more I think. Fatigue set in about 24 hours after the shot and then I went to bed about 9PM and woke up refreshed the next day.

Didn't miss work or a workout.

i don't have booster but since I got my 2nd vax in sept my left side (shot side) lymph nodes swell anytime i get sick. they swell from my lower left ribs up to the bottom of my armpit. they get painful while I'm sick. They they reside as I recover. they remain squishy the whole time, not hard or solid. It's happened two times now. I'm seeming my PCP early January to discuss it more. never happened before i got the vax. only lymph node ever swollen was on the neck below the ear. didn't even realize i had lymph above my rib cage until now.

Moderna 1 - rough for me. Arm/shoulder was literally on fire. Sweaty uncomfortable sleep. Next day complete brain fog and lethargy. Fine by the time I went to sleep.
Moderna 2 - expected it to be worse. But it wasn't. A little lethargy. But that's it.

Moderna booster yesterday at 11. No issues yesterday. Sleep wasn't great. Kept waking up and tossing and turning. Slight headache this morning went away with ibuprofen. Currently only a sore arm at the injection sight.
