https://oatext.com/zinc-may-have-a-potential-role-in-taste-malfunctions-treatment-for-covid-19-patients-journal-review-article.php#Article One of the daily recommendations I came across the other day for loss of taste is:
500 mg Quercetin
1 g Vit C (Plain ascorbic acid, not Ester C.)
4000 IU D3 + K2
50 mg Zinc (Not for long-term use. Only until taste returns.)
There was a clinical trial by the Cleveland Clinic that had dosages:
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/study/NCT04342728 Quercetin, a zinc ionophore, helps to transport zinc into the cells, but wasn't part of this trial. Info on zinc ionophores here. I am not familiar with this site, but it has some basic info at the top of the page.
