This is the most concise CDC report I have found concerning how the different vaccines are performing in the real world with respect to cases, deaths, and age.

There is a large data lag as the information is only thru September 4. But that is typical for CDC when dealing with deaths.

I would encourage you to open the link and create your own report rather than my examples below. And remember the data is based on occurrences per week per 100,000 population.

The week ending September 4.

Testing positive:

No Vax 666 / 100K population
Fully Vax 114 / 100K population
Moderna 87 / 100K population
Pfizer 126 / 100K population
J&J 150 / 100K population

Deaths:

No Vax 9.14 / 100K population
Fully Vax 0.74 / 100K population
Moderna 0.47 / 100K population
Pfizer 0.88 / 100K population

Given that the vaccinated population skews older and less healthy, these numbers are even better than they appear.

Right, so when you consider that the average American is at least 10x more likely to have died from Covid in the past year than from a traffic fatality, I think "good and meaningful" would clearly apply here.

To me this is the most interesting thing. All the vaccine detractors keep saying the vaccine doesn't prevention infection when the data is suggestive that it can and does.

Not perfect does not mean completely worthless.

Most traffic fatalities have comorbidities too.

If you don't understand how comorbidities impact you from a Heath perspective than from an action perspective, idk what to tell you.

You can work on it after you figure out what to tell yourself. Finding the end of the equine trail to dihydrogen monoxide does not necessarily bring sufficient hydration to fruition.
