I think most people's reaction was like mine. After the 1st shot, I had soreness in my arm the next day or so. After the 2nd one, same soreness plus low grade fever and fatigue the next day. Wasn't a big deal. Some people I know had slightly worse reaction than me and some had better.

You should be fine.

Finally deciding to pull the trigger...chose Moderna bc of the Delta efficacy - also seems to have the harshest reactions albeit usually on #2.

Also considered J&J to be one & done and just to be safe from catastrophic Covid.

I'm nervous honestly and as a 31 year old who's truly in shape/good health and has avoided undo risk, it's tempting to keep waiting it out. Anyways would appreciate feedback.

Your username, this post, and the quote in your signature are just too much. You'll get all the support you want here. If by chance you're looking for someone to tell you to go take a long look in the mirror and to listen to your conscience that's undeniably screaming at you, that'll be me.

If slightly hesitant on vaccine.....have you tested for antibodies maybe from an asymptomatic case over the past year?

I felt tired and cranky for one day and had minor soreness in my arm for two. The congratulatory text I got from Bill Gates that my microchip had properly synced with my smartphone assured me that this was a normal reaction.

If you haven't had Covid I would get Moderna.

The first shot didn't cause any problems outside of a sore arm at the injection site. The second shot made me more sick than I have been in 18 years, but it only lasted one day.

I couldn't get an erection for two weeks but I'm sure you will fair better…..

JK, absolutely no side effects from either the first or second shot. My wife had flu like symptoms for half a day on the second.

Pretty much similar for me. Sore arm after the 1st shot for a couple days, about the same as a flu shot. Again with a sore arm for a couple days after the second shot, but about 12 hours of a low grade fever the day after. I doubt that I would have noticed the low grade fever if I hadn't been checking my temperature. I'm mid-40s and in normal shape for someone my age.

Absolutely no energy the day after the second shot but didn't feel bad. My wife had the same reaction. We are early 70's, for reference.

We are about the same age and health. Second shot I got the slight chills while I slept so I put on a sweatshirt and was fine, no other problems sleeping or anything. Woke up groggy at 7 (normal wakeup) and felt better by about 10 AM.

#1 was about the most no nothing shot
#2 chills for about an hour about 8 hours out. Slept until about 4 PM the next day (unknown to me). Woke up with a sore arm, but expected that. By Sunday morning (shot Friday morning), soreness wore off.

My experience: went in and got a shot. Felt like a shot. Went back to work. I swear some people make such a huge deal about this.

This is how it is for most people. Don't sweat it, just get it done.

1st shot - nothing but a little bit of a sore arm.
2nd shot - slight chills and fever about 6 hours later. Took a 2-hour nap and felt great.
Walk softly and carry a big stick! Make sure the big stick makes big boom noises and flashy bright lights.

Moderna 1: Just arm soreness. But then a week later the lymph nodes in my armpit became inflamed and painful for over a week.

Moderna 2: Not a fun experience. Violent shaking plus fever and chills. Inflamed lymph nodes weren't quite as bad
