Note - this thread isn't about your take on getting/not getting the vaccine, we have plenty of those.

I got Covid last year. Felt like a minor cold, recovered in a couple days etc. A few months ago I got the vaccine, and made the mistake to go out to the bar and drink heavily with a few friends.

I have absolutely no idea what happened, but from 2am to 5am I felt literally on the verge of death. I could not stop shaking, felt almost paralyzed, and had to physically make myself jump out of bed to grab my work laptop. It was scary, and would have called 911 if it had persisted through the morning.

Crazy stuff, and definitely an abnormal reaction or we would have heard more of these types of stories. But just FYI.

Newsflash, you probably would have had that same reaction from the vaccine even if you didnt drink lol. Most people are getting sick from the vaccine for a day or so.

You also may have had the same reaction depending on how much you had to drink.

Had the Pfizer shots and drank beers and ate enchiladas afterwards. I don't think it was the beer.

JNJ.

And yes, had a lot to drink.

I had zero symptoms and drank the days of both my shots with zero side effects. Just made sure to stay hydrated

I had Covid in May 2020.

I finally decided to get the Phizer shots in August 2021. Just got my second one a week ago. I can assure you, the alcohol most likely had nothing to do with it. I had to call out of work after both Phizer shots....I was a mess for about 24 hours. In fact, Covid wasn't a walk in the park for me...but the affects of the two Phizer shots that first 24 hours was even worse.

Read that having Covid actually makes reaction to the vaccine worse. Not sure the science behind it, but my brother/SIL also had a bad reaction.

I did the exact same thing the day I got my first Pfizer shot. No side effects at all. My wife got the J&J and had fever aches etc for about 12 hours. Daughter got moderna and had exact same experience my wife did.

Did you drive to the pharmacy? Maybe that was it. Next time don't drive there.

This is essentially the same reaction I had to the J&J shot and I rarely drink. Shakes to the point my wife had to help me walk around the house so I could go to bed.

Not abnormal either. 4 of us here got the shot the same day and 3 of us had massive reactions. My wife felt hungover for 2 days. You don't hear these stories because it doesn't help the vaccine drive.

Most likely you've introduced alcohol permanently into your DNA with the mNRA vaccine used as a vector.

Nice going!

Didn't drink the day I got my second Moderna shot. The shaking was so hard that night the bed was rattling, and not in a good way.
