I have a 24 year old daughter with a brain injury. She used to be on anti-seizure meds but hasn't been on any for abot 4 years.

In July, she had a terrible headache that only went away after going to the ER. She still had more headaches after that, but slowly getting better.

She's been vaccinated, but she could have been exposed to Covid.

I was talking to a friend who had Covid last year, and she was talking about the headache being her main symptom.

We are in the process of trying to get an EEG and new MRI scheduled and appt with neurologist, but thought I'd ask here.

She just graduated with her masters, and had started working full time. The other thought is being on the computer all day with lots of Zoom meetings is causing problems.

When my 19yo had Covid, she had a terrible headache, but she also had other symptoms, so I'm not sure that the headache alone indicates Covid. Of course, this is such a terrible and erratic illness, that there is really no telling. I hope you get to the bottom of this and your daughter feels well soon.

Have you tested her for antibodies? That would probably be my first start.

Otherwise stress can really be killer for headaches. We were moving in June 2020 and I had headaches so debilitating, I would lose color in my skin and would have to sleep until it went away. It was awful. All antibody tests came back negative and the doctor chalked it up to stress.
