Anyone know a place that's offering the Johnson and Johnson shot? I know someone looking but the gov website is directing to two dose shots and the same with CVS and Walgreens

Not in Dallas but I struggled finding it as well. Only place I did find it eventually was Costco.

Fyi- HEB pharmacies in SA have the j&j vax.

I did the same. Just figured one shot was easier than two.

I'm not anti vaccine and I didn't say it was for me

I did too. But that shot (J&J) doesn't seem to be doing much for me. I have been told by the nurse at work that it is not effective against Delta, and my current symptoms don't seem to be any less severe than they would be for the average unvaccinated person in my demographic. I'd go for Phozer if I had a redo.

I am heading to Europe in early September, so I specifically sought out the J&J since with the other two I wouldn't have enough time in between both shots to be considered "fully" vaccinated. Did not have much luck finding it in Dallas County, but had to be up in Plano late Wednesday morning for work and the Market Street pharmacy happened to have three doses left.

Started feeling a little achy later that evening, didn't sleep well that night and woke up feeling pretty crummy the next morning (fever, headache, no appetite). Fever peaked at 101 late morning, but had broken by 6pm (roughly 30 hours later). Didn't take anything to counter it. Was pretty much back to 100% Friday morning.

Data from South Africa indicate it is reasonably effective against Delta (just one data point):

Burleson HEB had all three options

This is the one I will choose if forced by circumstances to get a vaccine. I have active antibodies so any shot should just function as a booster, and one and done will be the fastest course for me. I am caring for my MIL with cancer and they might require vaccine proof for office visits.
