55 yr old male, 6'0" 230lbs. No vaccine. I know. I know. Thus far this has strictly been a sinus type event. Stuffy/running nose. Lost smell Saturday. Highest temperature was 100.2 probably averaging 99.2. Sometimes going completely away without ibuprofen. Absolutely no involvement of lunges thus far and O2 at 97. Wife is four days behind me slight cough seems to be located more in throat. Completed 5th dose of ivermectin yesterday following I Mask+ protocol. Curious as to suggestions and observations of others having gone through this. Wife is 52 5'7" 135 lbs. Thanks in advance.

Have not gone through it personally. From reading and anecdotes, it seems people are either better by day 7 to 10 or so, or they start getting worse.

You're about over it! Keep a watch on the wifey's cough, but other than that, you're good.

Days 9, 10, 11, and 12 were my worst days.

I think the question he is asking is was their a hump around day 6 and you felt better, then got worse days 9-12, or were you progressively getting worse and days 912 were the worst?

Wife and I followed the Doc's cocktail, not ivermectin.

Wife was 3 days of slight fever 100-101 + body aches/joint pain. Other than losing her taste for a week, she was symptom free by day 4.

I had really bad sinus pressure (behind eyes) for 2 days with no fever or low O2 (checking both 4 times a day while my wife was recovering and quarantining - those days were her days 5 & 6). Day 3 tested positive and had mild dry cough but still no fever or low O2. Day 4 I was a little tired but still no fever, O2 never dropped below 96 (really 97 except for one time), slight throat sensitivity (presumably from the dry cough) and that's it. Back to 100% normal by day 5.

Delta seems like it lingers around a little bit longer based on purely anecdotal evidence. People I know that have had it recently (I think 7 out of 8 are vaccinated) all were symptomatic for about a week. Fortunately no one was seriously ill.

Not sure if that really helps but maybe it provides a little bit of a benchmark.

Who knows, each one is different. For me it was even keel until day day 10 (constant fever, headache, some fatigue were only symptoms)...then day 10 fever went away and then day 11 and 12 were the worst days with fever and headaches returned after being gone around day 6. Then it was all gone the next day. That's just one anecdote, and there are tons more where it goes away from where you are at it or it gets really worse. But yours has been really mild and good chance you could be done or it just lingers for awhile.

What kind of headaches did everyone experience during their Covid?

Exactly like sinus headaches but with more pain behind the eyes than normal

Yeah, I wish I had some advice but Tylenol/Ibuprofen didn't do a whole lot. I was working and watching my kids (that were asymptomatic) and the best thing that helped me was taking periodic breaks away from the computer and just lying down for 30-45 minutes, not focusing on a screen.

Hope you get to feeling better!

Thanks for the advice. I've been chilling most of the day in the bed and getting up and walking around every hour so. Just tired of the headaches right now

This is the correct answer. There is no standard for the symptoms, each person experiences them different.

Haven't had it (yet) but I've read some people take mucinex and or Zyrtec-d (the d is actually Sudafed so if you can find that alone would be good!) for sinus pressure and to dry up congestion. Good luck and thanks to everyone for documenting their daily symptoms. Hoping if it hits our house one day we'll be prepared with our arsenal of OTC meds!

I think my worst day was day 5/6 post symptoms. Wife got it first. She had a runny nose over the weekend and tested Monday. I quarantined immediately and got my first little cough by Thursday morning and the weirdest chills I ever experienced Friday. By Saturday I was certain I had Covid and got my test/positive results that day. Sunday to Monday was the worst with a cough, 100 fever, and exhaustion. Started to feel better Monday and was able to work with some breaks if exhaustion kicked in.

Best of luck!

My dad was so much better on day seven he tried to mow the lawn. He was almost hospitalized by day ten. The only reason he was not is he lives with a nurse and it was March 2020 and rural.

He was over it by about day 18. He ended up in the hospital on day 60 with inflammation around his heart but was released after three days.

He is 100% now though. That was last year.

I had a headache day one and nothing after that until day 7 when I lost my smell and taste. Didn't get that back till around day 14 but that was about it as far as symptoms. My wife had it a little rougher than me but she was better by day 10

Thanks for the replies. Fever trending up yesterday and this morning. Woke to a temp of 101.6. Still no other symptoms other than sinus congestion and inability to smell. Perhaps a touch of fatigue. 02 still good. Hopefully getting towards the end.

Keep moving! I was in bed days 2-6 and then developed pneumonia. Should have got out of bed a lot more.
