Looks like Arkansas and Missouri have peaked. Florida looks like they are peaking as well. Of course, now school is open. Hopefully won't see a further surge in cases.
I'm still so sad about how many of these people just flat-out refused to be vaccinated based on what they read on social media. Losing so many young people now.

My county had 52 covid cases in the hospital on July 12th. Friday it was 675 with 228 in the ICU.

It's definitely over for Daniel Wilkinson, a veteran who survived two tours in Afghanistan, because he's dead. Sucks that he didn't have to die, but there were no hospitals able to accept his transfer since they were full of Covid patients. But, by all means, Covid is over.

I saw that they're expecting herd immunity in Florida by Sept 10 or so. I think Texas will be by end of September if that same reasoning holds true. I really hope so, I am ready for the acute phase of the pandemic to be over.
