Personal opinion on vitamins is that we didn't take them prior to the Pandemic.

Started the vitamin C, D, Zinc and occasionally Melatonin routine.

Wife and I had asymptotic Covid late December early January.

We got the vaccine Thursday.

Should we continue the vitamins?

Always good to keep a healthy level of Vitamins C and D in your system, imho. Not a doctor but I plan to keep those up even though vaccinated until I start getting more sun regularly here in a month or so. Most aren't zinc deficient so you might just look to a good multivitamin, though, again just my two cents.

We aren't gonna die of covid, post-vaccine.

Don't know if you're asking me, but I just called my pcp for a blood test.

Most docs just run the usual CBC (which doesn't include d or c or zinc) ask specifically for a vitamin panel or at the very least D & zinc as these are very important relating to covid.

So by this chart, the Vitamins C & D and zinc are compatible.

Depending on how much zinc you are taking, it may be worth reading up on how too much zinc could affect your health.

I have kept zinc gluconate on hand for the common cold since the early 1980s, but only take them as needed, not daily. If I were going to take them daily, I would look for smaller doses than what I take temporarily in response to a rhinovirus. Or maybe just take it once or twice a week. But that's just me.

If you do take zinc daily, it would likely be wise to inform your doctor and pharmacist when prescribed a medicine because in some cases, the medicine and the zinc may not be compatible.

Ill take quercetin, 4000IUs of D, zinc, and a daily multi for the rest of my life after this. I feel SO much better since I started my regimen and my allergies have scaled back dramatically.
