That's depressing. Bell county has all of 3 dead.

The State of Texas has a really good website with much more data.

They have data not only by county but also designated hospital regions (as not every county has an inpatient hospital) and there is quite a bit of demographic data as well.

The active cases per county do not add up to the total for Texas.

Or compares flu without precautions vs Covid without precautions.

Imo ... time to open up and move on. The hit on the economy was too much damage vs. risks.

I don't know where they are getting their data, but they have Hays County wrong. Hays county has never had 167 active cases. There have been a total of 176 cases so far, the current number of active cases is 65. The peak of 81 active cases was hit on 4/21 and again on 4/28.

I wonder how much of the rest of the data is wrong.
