Daily test counts have been extremely erratic (see below) i.e. yesterday there were just 1,594 tests reported. Given that Texas cases are increasing exponentially at 20-25% per day ... daily test volume in Texas is even harder to comprehend. Anyone with a reasonable explanation on why so erratic?

My reasonable guest is because there are not enough tests.

Feds are concentrating sources to the key outbreak areas? I'm not sure and am wondering as well.
