see their ads all the time but never been in their store. I certainly will be when this blows over.

Somewhat ironic that nearly 100% of what they sell is made in China. But, I applaud their actions.

I think their stuff is mostly unbranded Skil. Cheap and you'll be lucky to get a few uses. If it's something you'll rarely use, they're perfect. In other words, I love HF!

Wonderful news. Hopefully, others will follow.

Nothing against harbor freight as they have their place and purpose. Some of their stuff is less than quality, you have to pick and choose. I have some large C clamps I bought at harbor freight that were inexpensive and worked great. I bought adapters for my socket wrench one time I was there for something else and they broke on the first use, twisted right off. They do have a very liberal return policy so I just brought them back. Also used an air cut off tool from there that was actually pretty good.

With that being said this is a great thing they are doing!

Near 100% of what anyone sells is made in China.

And that needs to change when we get through this.

I'll bet there will be a tidal wave of BUY AMERICAN or DONT BUY FROM CHINA when this is over. One of Tom Clancys' books had a similar scenario.

That would be great but I think it will be overshadowed by the "Big Government saved us with restrictions so let's be like China and let the government run our lives."

Their hand tools have a lifetime warranty. HF has effectively replaced Craftsman. With the 20% off coupons, they're a much better value

Not for this guy, but to each his own.

Craftsman is made in China now too. It ain't your daddy's Craftsman. If I'm gonna have to buy cheap disposable Chinese crap, might as well spend less and get it from HF where I can return it anytime.
Until good quality and relatively affordable American made tools make a comeback, seems we're stuck with this option.

Late seeing this but submitted a request for my hospital. Good bull and hope they're able to fulfill. We're in desperate need of PPE.

Honestly I don't buy that many tools. Have several sets of tools that handle 99% of what I need. Certain things I'd have no problem buying at harbor freight and others I wouldn't

Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I have good luck with consumables like grinding wheels, flap disks, cutting disks, etc. Some of their hand tools are pretty good but some of them are absolute crap. You just have to kind of check them out on an individual basis, My low-profile floor jack is awesome.

HF is really a good store. Like others have said, if you won't use it very much their tools are great. I have used their framing nailers, staple guns, and roofing nailers. I have never had any of them break with moderate use and they are all much cheaper than ones anywhere else.

Also, don't forget to print out a 20 percent off coupon before you go and see what free gifts they are offering as well. I almost always get something for free when I go there with a minimum purchase whether it be a small flashlight, multimeter or magnetic holder.

American unions are the root cause of higher American prices.
