My brother found a Zello channel Cy fair wrecking crew that is helping find work on the NW side. I've been down here all day clearing out and demoing flooded houses. Bring push brooms, flat shovels, wheelbarrows, flatbars and crowbars, mallets, etc.

Volunteer for home Remediation Any part of town. Sign up an show up.

You will find no shortage of people that can use help. My recommendation is to find areas north or west of the reservoirs, as these are more likely to have homes that have drained and are ready for demo.

Check out the thread on this forum that asks for people to post that need help. If nothing else, team up with one of the churches in any area sending out shifts of people daily

I'm trying to come down from Dallas Tuesday night and go back home Thursday night or Friday morning. I'll keep checking this thread if I can do it. I've been wondering where I would stay since I assume most of the hotels are booked.

Hammer, wonder bar pry tool, sledge, crow bar, wrecking bar, N95 mask, contractor trash bags, battery operated sawzall, battery operated drill, razor blade knife, broom, shovel.

If ya bring nothing else, get the wonder bar and hammer.
