Couldn't find a thread.

Friends are being moved to a shelter but trying to get to friends house in silver lake. Should it be dry and safe? Transportation issues?

Clear areas in pearland?

People were saying last night that Silverlake streets were passable, which is nothing short of miraculous.

The google map posted in the thread below is pretty good. Unfortunately it doesn't get to the neighborhood street level.

288 feeders are a mess right now. A friend was able to make it to the Costco from their house off CR59, so it seems there are some streets still passable. May have to backtrack a couple times, but you should be able to make your way through Pearland with some luck. The rain has stopped which should help some of the water recede in the next couple hours.

Thanks. The shelter bus is now stopped at 288 south of town. Water up to the door of a school bus.

This is evacuees who were in sugar land / stafford last night.
