4 mini and 2 quarter horses are on flooded property in a now mandatory evacuation area. Is there someone with a boat to check on them and give the owners an idea if they can be rescued? Please contact Faith 8322598091

I am guessing this is somewhere off Bois D'arc. I just bought land off of Lea Lane and it has been accessible every day even though there was a mandatory evacuation for the area.

I know it's a long hike but Sam Houston Race Park is offering to house evacuee horses if they need a place to go after rescue.

If you can get them out, I can house them in Fort Worth.

FYI I'm in College Station- The expo center is open to house large animals - if need be I can try to find friends with horse trailers to pick up and bring them back here

We are Ralph & Tamara Hampton, 3.5 hrs north of Humble. We have 100 acres of fenced pasture & woods, we do NOT flood.
We are opening the ranch to anyone who needs shelter for horses. Mares & geldings please, current coggins. Bring feed if you can - horses will not go hungry. Plenty of trees, grass, etc.
If you want to stay with your horses, bring camper or whatever you can.
