Spicewood,

Still looking for your swims. I finally got around to looking at the meet results.

1:45 200 yard free swim by a forty something Ross Davis. Thats just crazy fast. I only swam 1:46 when I was 18.

Ross Davis is an incredible swimmer. He was not tapered for Zones - he's tapering for Nationals in May. It says he swims for Woodlands but he trains in Austin. Ross just aged up to 40-44 so this is the best time for him to set records or achieve high national rankings.

Look for me in 45-49 50 free - 3rd place. I swim for the team "WFLY."

Beretta - I just read that Dara Torres, former Olympian, now 40 years old, and a mom, swam a 21.91 50 free and 48.34 100 free last weekend in a Masters meet. These times are simply stunning. Her 50 time is faster than Natalie Coughlin and the 12th fastest in US history.

She is apparently training for the 2008 Olympics and now looks like she has a legitimate shot at it.
