Richard's a good Ag and obviously a great writer. He's even a better guy. He helped me coach a baseball team of 11 and 12 year olds this spring, the Aggies (what else?). One game we were tenative at the plate, and after a couple of innings he tells the kids in the dugout, "Coach Adam will run a lap around the bases next practice for every ball you hit to the outfield!"
The Aggies started scalding the baseball, won, and were quite delighted to watch me lap the bases until I damned near keeled over the following Wednesday. (10 laps?... or was it 50?)
