In a sign of unity, the baseball players decided to shave their heads in hopes of coming together as a team and changing their luck. The players still believe in themselves and they know that the breaks have got to start coming our way eventually.

I believe in this team. I think the breaks start coming this weekend. Gig 'em baseball players and BTHO Nebraska!!

Cobys head has been shaved, but I like it... that shows they still want to win, and shows the fans they still have heart... I never thoght they didnt, but some of you seem to quit on the tem after some close/tough losses.

Can someone explain the difference between "quiting on the team" and "supporting the team but voicing your frustrations"? It seems to be a very fine line.

And if they get the hair out of their eyes, they can see the ball better too.

The last time I recall an A&M team shaving heads as a show of solidarity was the '79 football team. It didn't help much. Shaving heads doesn't make a mediocre team better and we have a mediocre team.

That aside, I was impressed with Nebraska's pitching last Friday, but nothing else that they did last weekend was very impressive. We should be able to take 2 of 3 from these guys at home, unless we really are in the tank.

Well, it's a long season and just like basketball, it isn't how you start it's how you finish. You may be slumping now, but we'll make the big tourney and we are capable of getting on a roll.

Why do people think that shaving heads is a sign of heart, and a sign of broherhood?

To me a sign of brotherhood and unity is going through hard times such as a billy g bootcamp. It's not like "hey we shaved our heads so we're going to play better now!"

I believe in the players but shaving your head in a statement of unity does nothing unless your head coach shaves his too. Consequently nothing has changed. There are the players and then you have the coach on another page.
