Estimating ticket expenses for future as I'd like to attend more games regularly once retired.

I see that Field Club level seats, for the latest season, are $3,415 all in per seat.
Is there a waiting list for these or are there currently season seats in the field club that go unsold?

Similarly, for those of you who travel to the away conf games, what does a weekend of travel at an SEC opponent typically run you and your spouse/family on average? I'm estimating ~$3K per weekend for travel, ticket, lodging, and food expenses for a couple assuming driving.

A top five priority point donor is a friend and has gotten the field club seats next to me this season due to a death. Took him years to be able to get in the field club seats. The ticket prices mean nothing. Your donating history and contributions are the big investment.
Season tickets are sold out so I do not know the inventory. Or how your priority point ranking affects your ability to get season tickets at all. To my knowledge, there is no waiting list. I would call the 12th Man Foundation and find out what you need to know.

And I think if you drive 3k will be plenty for away game weekends. It will probably be cheaper to go to away games than Aggie season tickets. And they are lots of fun.

Is there even a way to sign up for season tickets? I thought they did renewals and then the upgrade process. If you are new and want season tickets, don't you just opt in to the upgrade process and if you get an appt time (based on PP rank) then you can add season tickets?

If you give a big enough donation, I think the TMF will figure out a way to get you tickets before the upgrade process, but it has to be a SIZEABLE donation to get that treatment (ain't that the truth, Trouble?)!

I hope we expand before 2030.

$3000 for a weekend if you are driving is probably way more than you will need.

Just to share priority point expectations, I'm around 1400 and have been trying to move my seats from bleachers to main stands. I think the last couple years I missed it by about 30 minutes. And I think the remaining bleachers sold out not too long after.

Your rank 1400 or have 1400 points?

Absolutely. Definitely more money than I pull in in a year. But that apparently let's you unseat important people.

I fill out the interest form every year. I get an appt time. The fine folks here let me know when things are sold out. Usually a day before my time.

Then 12th Man Ag takes pity on me and sells me some of his.

My experience. Priority Rank ~925. I was able to get 3 lowers in 2011, Sect 102. I tried to upgrade to 4 lowers for years, finally increased to 4 in Sect 101 last year. This year I don't think there was even a pair in any lower section at my renewal/upgrade time. I hope the expansion is finished ASAP.

I have season tickets and I've been trying to move for years - no bueno. However, I do like my seats. I have become partial to them and it's the same people around me too.

Some smarter than me have suggested there will be no expansion before Jimbo's contract is paid off.

Yeah, I have had season tickets since 2017, with 3 on one row and 1 a few rows down. I am ranked around 1300 and have NEVER been able to get the single lined with the other 3.

It's frustrating because there are different people sitting next to me every game. For years, it was the same elderly couple. I don't know if health issues have caused them to not attend and they give them away or if they gave them up and someone higher on the PP list was able to snap them up.

That may be true. Probably the only way around that is a big donor steps up with a gift of 70-80% of the total.

As others have alluded to, there is no "waiting list" for season tickets. You just have to opt in to the seat selection, and you can claim anything that is available when your priority rank number comes up. Right now, virtually nothing is available in any given year. There are a lot of people who get tickets from folks who bought season tickets back before they were such a hot commodity but can't, or don't, go to games anymore.

As to road trips, a typical baseball road trip is a lot cheaper than a football road trip because hotel prices are much cheaper (not the same demand). Now there are exceptions, like if it is graduation weekend, or some kind of local special event, but, by and large, you are paying regular hotel rates, not special event pricing, so the cost really comes down to how much you want to spend. There are some away venues where there is a hotel within walking distance of the park, and that makes a huge difference. I've stayed walking distance from the park at LSU, Arkansas, State, Bama, Vandy, Georgia, and Florida, and I believe there are options to do so at Auburn, Ole Miss, and UT, but those are the three left on my list.

Tickets are usually easily available on the secondary market at the high demand venues, but for some, you can even buy decent tickets direct (though for several, this means using Ticketmaster). If you want to sit near other Aggies, find out where the player comp sections are and look for tickets nearby. You may not want to do that at LSU and Arkansas, because the comp tickets are way down the line, and terrible views, but, it's worth thinking about when buying tickets.
