OK...here we are. Three regular season weekends to go. Missouri has been eliminated from SEC title contention, but (mathematically) everyone else could still win it. The top league teams have these schedules remaining:

GEORGIA (15-6, .714)
vs. Missouri
vs. LSU
at Auburn
Dawgs are going to be tough to catch with 6 easy home games remaining

TEXAS A&M (14-6, .700)
vs. Auburn
at Ole Miss
vs. Mississippi State
Oof...probably the toughest remaining stretch

TEXAS (13-7, .650)
vs. Mississippi State
at Tennessee
vs. Missouri
Horns likely won't catch UGA, but should go at least 6-3 in these games

MISSISSIPPI STATE (13-8, .619)
at Texas
vs. Auburn
at Texas A&M
Oof...possibly as tough as A&M's last three series

AUBURN (12-9, .571)
at Texas A&M
at Mississippi State
vs. Georgia
Dang...right there with A&M and MSU on a difficulty scale

OLE MISS (11-10, .524)
at Arkansas
vs. Texas A&M
at Alabama
OK...everyone except UGA, Texas, and UF (see below) will have a killer finishing stretch

OKLAHOMA (11-10, .524)
vs. Florida
at Arkansas
vs. Tennessee (at Bricktown, for some reason)
OU gets three Jekyl & Hyde teams to finish

FLORIDA (11-10, .524)
at Oklahoma
vs. Kentucky
at LSU
Manageable, but the Gators really needed to win the A&M series

ARKANSAS (11-10, .524)
vs. Ole Miss
vs. Oklahoma
at Kentucky
Also manageable, and Arkansas badly needs 3 series wins

Cuss, discuss, or ignore...your choice. I predict UGA will win the conference outright, Oklahoma will make some noise, and the A&M-MSU-Auburn-Ole Miss rock fight will be a blast to follow the next few weeks.

Bottom Line, the SEC is deep with a lot of tough teams.

Ugh - they sure do. Took them straight from the SEC website. I'll get them updated.

Conference records updated and Arkansas added, since they're above .500 in the league.

ALABAMA, VANDERBILT, TENNESSEE (10-11, .476)

Corrected your records and added Arkansas and the three 10-11 teams.

If A&M goes 4-5 over their last 9, which should be a reasonable objective at worst, Texas and Mississippi State will have to go 6-3 to surpass them. Auburn will have to go 7-2 and the 11-10 teams will have to go 8-1.

Since Texas and Mississippi State play each other this weekend, one of those teams will start off with 2 losses.

4-5 should get us safely to a top 8

It'highly HIGHLY unlikely A&M would finish worse than 3rd with a 5-4 finish.

Miss St would have to go 7-2 against a very hard sched

Auburn wiuld have to go 8-1 with same.

Ole Miss and a slew of others would have to go 9-0

I think it should too but I also think it leaves it up for discussion depending on what others teams do. 5-4 solidifies it completely

States last 3 is the toughest.

What happens if the only difference between UGA and the good guys is the missing SEC Sunday gamewe clearly would've taken from the whorns? They win the conference??

Given UGA's schedule, I don't see anyone catching them. They're likely to have 22 or 23 wins at the end.

Yes. It's solely based on winning percentage as it should be.

I dont think anyone (nationally) would lift their noses at 2-6 finishers in the SEC.

Every team has flaws in the regular season. Even the "invincible" teams like UCLA this year or Vols ('22) can stumble prior to Omaha.

May be a benefit as UGA has the head to head. So as long as we match wins we would be the 1 seed. Kind of think of the that game like a tie.

Among the 12 top teams, Vandy and UGA have the easiest remaining conference schedules, statistically. Their opponents' conference winning percentages are .333 & .349, respectively. Florida & sip have the next easiest at .413 & .429.

Auburn & State have the two toughest remaining schedules, at .651 and .639. We have the third toughest at .571, with Auburn close behind at .565.

The final weekend could be meaningful for everyone.

If we wind up in third behind the sips because of this schedule I will be crazy mad. Those *******s just fall into everything. So far every concern I had about them joining the SEC has come true. They seem to get every unearned advantage.

Winning SEC regular season title would be nice but it doesn't matter much. Focus is on garnering a Top 8 National seed or at worst a very high regional host seed.

This please. No one remembers who wins the conference. Everyone knows who won the Natty.

We have 3/10 uncommon opponents:

Us: UGA, @ Florida & @ LSU
Sip: Bama, @ Tennessee & @ USC

Pretty close to a push. They just have their weakest opponent the final weekend. Having the head-to-head tiebreaker, we're essentially up 2 with 9 to play.

We need 6 wins to secure top 8. That would be 20 wins in SEC which should easily be top 8. 19 total wins should get us top 8, but 20 would be better for this year.

sigh... This again?

We *clearly* would have beaten a Top 5 team and a starting pitcher that hasn't lost a game all year?

Status quo on Tuesday night for everyone except Ole Miss. Rebs lost to Mississippi State in a neutral site game, so really no harm to their post-season status.

Man, I'm excited for this weekend. Mainly for A&M-Auburn, but every weekend series will be interesting.

Vandy at Bama
Ole Miss at Arkansas
Auburn at Texas A&M
Florida at Oklahoma
Mizzou at Georgia ... OK, this one won't be interesting.
Tennessee at Kentucky
South Carolina at LSU ... Nor will this one.
Mississippi State at Texas

Couldn't help but notice that for everyone OP commented as having a closeout stretch as rough as the Ags...
