Are these guys gators… they are just all about the gators and really questioning everything Ags. It's always annoying when the crew is calling a national broadcast and there is a biased… just my rant. It feels like they are a home team commentator.

Just like when an SECN+ broadcast is done at A&M.
No,I noticed their pro-Gators, anti-Aggie bias right after turning the sound on this game. That is definitly inappropriate to me to have biased announcing and it sure is annoying!
Wait, are you guys getting this game on ESPN? Not the draft? I'm watching on SEC + with FL announcers. Just like we have our announcers for our home games on SEC+.
The home team generally gets more mention in SEC sports.

These guys literally work for Florida. Just like Will Johnson works for 12th Man productions.

Yup. That's why I listen to Andrew Monaco for away games. And a lot of home games too

And it doesn't matter whether or not they can.
But, honestly, when Will and even Boomer broadcast A&M games, you'd think they were the opposing team homers.
The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.
That's exactly right. Our own announcers and especially Johnson and sometimes Boomer come across as homers for the opposing team. It really hacks me off!

I have said during the past two years that the absolute WORST game announcers I have heard are the homers for the Florida Gators. When we played at Florida in 2024, the announcers were extremely biased against anything Texas A&M and pro everything Florida.

I don't think they come across as anything other than terrible. I've been asking for years who is Will's dad or who does he have dirt on because no way he got the job on merit.

Everybody gets that they're Gator network announcers. But wasn't that long ago many people were on this board saying how much they enjoyed the Mizzou announcing team

Yes, we all know that games use home announcers. I don't mind a little home team bias which all teams have, but these florida guys take it to a new level. I still remember how consistently bad they were back in our 2024 games. I remember one specific instance in a big spot on a 2 strike count where a he described a ball that essentially rolled into the catches on the ground as "juuuuuuuuust low"
These guys are bad. One of them is much worse than the other, but I dont know them well enough to know which that is but I know the realllly bad commentary comes from one voice.

It's the same as with Any blue blood. Florida has national championships. They get respect. I like hating the other team.

As does the team that is playing better during that particular game.
I know these guys were gators but the way they were appalled at a called strike in the bottom half then went on and on about the perfect pitch placement for the exact same pitch in the top half was annoying. You know the pitch I'm talking about…6 inches off the ground just off the plate. Of course, the ump never could decide whether it was a strike either so I think he just made something up.

Because he's a current Aggie announcer. We could have Vin Scully calling our games and we'd complain. The only happy Aggie is an unhappy Aggie.
When the game is nationally televised, the commentators are sent by ESPN; they tend to be neutral because they're paid to commentate on the sport and teams on both sides of the ball. But when it's done through the SEC Network, especially on SEC+, the SEC basically tells the university that it will use the university's announcers to call the game. So, quite literally, the university is running the broadcast, and it's just being platformed on the SEC+. So, not all announcers are provided by the SEC, and the only form of bias we will encounter when on the road is from tuning into the radio broadcast. I only wish there were a website or something that could combine the TV and radio broadcasts so I could listen to my guys call the game.
