We have 4,5,6 and 10 in the next 4 weeks… here we go! Let's keep those bats ringing. Would love to go 7-5 or 8-4 over the next month. If we can do that I'd say we are in good shape for a national seed

Yes, the next 4 weeks should be fun. We need to win 3 of the 4 series and I think that might lock up a 4-6 national seed.

The "gifts" on the schedule this year are Missouri and South Carolina.

These five teams got both on their schedule:

Arkansas
Georgia
Kentucky
sips
Vandy

Only one team missed both Missouri and South Carolina, that being Ole Miss. Everyone else had one or the other (and Missouri played South Carolina). If LSU limps to the finish, people may start arguing that having the Tigers on the schedule was a gift, but I don't think anyone would say that with a straight face.

Auburn (5)
OU (14)

Alabama (12)
Vanderbilt (8)
Miss St. (3)

Missouri (16)

That is an average ranking of 10.2. Just to note 11.5 would be a schedule of only playing the bottom 10 teams. They aren't far off from that.

A&M Schedule:

OU (14)
Georgia (9)
Missouri (16)
Vanderbilt (8)
tu (2)
LSU (1)
Florida (7)
Auburn (5)
Ole Miss (10)
Miss St. (3)

That is an average ranking of 7.5

I love how my Arkie buddy told me how the Razorbacks would be the best team in the SEC this year. He said the same thing about basketball.

Now it's "oh I don't watch, we suck".

He'll rinse and repeat the same predictions next season.

It's easy to back seat drive. The pre season our schedule was rated in top ten SOS. We can't help if other teams were overrated.

I think you miss the point entirely. Obviously no one knows exactly hiw it will play out, but favoritism in the schedule making with what we DO know or suspect is what we're talking about.


If our schedule in the fall was Ms St, Ark, Vandy, SC, Ky, Auburn, Mizz, Florida, and Tenn, we'd probably feel a little blessed.

Lot of baseball left to play….. and our schedule is pretty brutal Fl, MS, OM and TN
