The concerns that led to the investigation have not been revealed and will not be made public to protect privacy and the integrity of the review process, a spokesperson said.

PennLive has learned the concerns, some of which were captured on video, occurred while the team was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for games between March 8 and 12. The eight games scheduled since then were postponed.

Further notes: Only staff member to survive the purge is the S&C coach and the roster still has 22 players on it. HC Chis was also a Major Leaguer.

Videos as of late, but also well beyond that depending upon the month/ season/ holiday, suggest able beachgoers from "The Black Pearl" area meandered on over to the "Dirty Myrtle", have taken Root(s), & in so doing now removed ANY mention/ reference/ vernacular pertaining to 'white trash' or 'redneck' to truthfully describe the place!!!

So, BRACE YOURSELVES if 2026 (& every year hereafter) is a designated return year based upon your 4 year interval; crowd participation from large swaths of unruly & classless young people have made it a risky vacation spot.

I was there two years last. We actually always stay south in Surfside or Garden City. So go to Myrtle proper only a few times in the week we are there.
