It feels like countless times our pitchers have gotten up 0-2, only to end up leaving one up or middle middle and giving up a hit...including bombs.

Those of you that are much more efficient at looking up stats, can you find the data?

Count the runs we've given up with 2 outs over that same period…it's stunning

Pitching approach is horrendous. My 13 yo knows better how to set them up for your out pitch. Speed up their bat, slow it down, move their eyes, tunneling, etc all for your end game - out pitch. Could be K or weak GO or lazy pop up. I think our approach is to throw it over the plate and let them hit it. We are good at that. And so is the opponent.

Part of the problem is our guys don't really have out pitches.

Friday's Box Score

Saturday's Box Score

The information is there batter by batter. With a little effort you can come up with the answer yourself if you are truly interested.

I would love if some media member would ask Earley, "knowing UGA was leading the nation in HRs, what was the pitching strategy against them and why do you think it didn't work".

Guarantee his answer would make no sense at all.
