My sons' hand looks EXACTLY like that, except it's his right hand. Crushed it playing in a 9th grade football game (vs Stony Pointe - he's class of '16).
The doc said that knuckle was crushed in the same manner as you would crush a beer can.
To this day, he has no knuckle in that part of his hand.

A true class act representation of our University. Brought so many awesome memories and moments to Aggie baseball. Was blessed to witness his big catch in person in Omaha. Will never forget.
