but as i sit here typing this after watching our softball team pull yet another aggie job nothing would be more aggie than our baseball team going on a run.

i have no hope of this but it is exactly how we like to do things.

Softball also collapses. I've moved on to waiting through the summer for Football now so I can start this cycle over again.

I would like us to beat Mississippi State in the first round, but I am not expecting it. It is perplexing how we got swept by Missouri at home and lost all 3 games by 3 runs each. After we led Missouri 6-1 at the end of the 4th inning of Game 1, Missouri outscored us by a combined 22-2 across the last 23 innings (8-0 in the last 5 innings of Game 1, 4-1 in Game 2, and 10-1 in Game 3). Then, Missouri gets swept by Mississippi State at home and lost all 3 games by 10+ runs each. Mississippi State outscored Missouri by a combined 50-11. Consequently, Missouri finished with the historically worst SEC record of 3-27 in the 30-game era that began in 1996. The previous worst seasons belonged to Vanderbilt (5-24, 2000), Georgia (5-23, 2010), and Alabama (5-24-1, 2017).

Missouri should be throwing us some type of thank you party. If not for us, they would have a record that will never be broken.

Missouri tried to go 0-30 but we do what we always do for other teams. Make them look like world beaters, heisman Qbs, LT Giants defenses. We have a great knack for making teams look like world beaters.

Real question is how many years will it take until we get 15 wins again in conference. I thinking the over under has to be at least 3 years.

Happens 100% of the time to me. I'm not looking forward to it because I know it will only lead to another let down but I'm confident I will be sucked back into another hypenado.

To make this a little more plausible, we don't have to win 15 in a row. Although that would be outstanding. We just need to win 5 in a row to have a chance to move on. After that it's double elimination. So we could still lose a game each round

If anyone can do it it's us. We have proven all the naysayers wrong in thr past. Baseball is our sport. We own them!

I live in Colorado. I was around when the Rockies won 20 out of 21 to make it to the World Series. It's possible! Of course this year we're just hoping the Rockies win 20 games for the whole year
