Are they considered GA? I'm wanting to take my 9 year old Friday to his first game. Just wondering what's considered GA.

3rd base bleachers are reserved seats. Section 12 is a type of GA, but a Section 12 ticket doesn't entitle you to admission to the grandstand/berm. They only have so many ballpark GA tickets to sell, so once they've reached that number, everything they sell is Section 12.

Section 12 is GA, but it is a completely separate ticket and entrance from the standard GA/Lawn tickets.

3rd base bleachers are reserved, not GA

202-203 and the grass berms are GA. You want to be in line when the gates open (90 minutes before first pitch) to guarantee a spot.

FWIW - I think section 12 in the outfield is pretty cool. We've always had fun out there.

How do you get ahold of tickets in 112? Is that just overflow after they fill up the lawn?

We haven't been able to go this year, but last year IIRC you had to be in line the day of the game to get those. I think they started selling them 3 hours before first pitch. Maybe they changed that this year. Those lines got pretty long last year…

back in my day we didn't have fancy bleachers. If you got to the game late, 203 would heckle you with the "Right Field Bleachers" chant.

And in the early days before texting, when someone would be on their phone looking for friends, everyone would stand up and yell, "Can you hear me now"?

This was largely based because someone sold a verizon commercial to Olsen and there was no reception for Verizon at Olsen. That led to everyone replying, "NO!" when the commercial would ask Can you hear me now?

I sat in 201 on Sunday and I was shocked nobody forced me to chug my beer when I crossed in front of 203. I was ready

Those were the days.

Playing the Michigan fight song on kazoos.
The Old Dominion coach playing along when we yelled "get in the box" and then "get out of Bill's box," and then he tips his hat to us at the end of the game.
Big Bad John.
And so much more.

Love all theses "old" stories and memories. Some of my favorite times were at olsen and kyle. I remember freezing my butt off for 2 hrs at the top of 203 studying/waiting for opening day game to start. Ross Stripling's no hitter. Etc.

Bubbles are a cool add to our traditions and I don't mind the ice cream helmets either!
