I went to the Shriner Baseball Classic. I believe it was Seat Geek. I will check Astro site.
Apparently our game against Okie State Saturday will be aired live on MLB Network. Anything else seems to be tape delayed. With Spring Training starting I somewhat surprised to get even that much.LRB38 said:
I thought I saw that the MLB Network was covering these as well. Did I see that wrong?
I tried to buy at the gate two years ago. They would not sell to me and told me I had to buy on my phone. It was tedious, I had to go through creating an MLB account, downloading the MLB app, and my tickets didn't show up in my account immediately. The whole process took a long time and then I had to wait about 10 minutes after buying before I could see the tickets in my account and enter the stadium. I recommend getting tickets online in advance so you don't have to come up against this.safety guy said:
If you are buying general admission tickets, just buy them at the gate. Quick and easy. If you want the Reserved seating, buy on line to get your seat.
That is one screwed up system. I may go Friday if I have time. I have not been to the games there in about 6 years so they must want all tickets on line to reduce the cost of selling tickets at the stadium.ensign_beedrill said:I tried to buy at the gate two years ago. No, I believe they were streamed live on the Astros Youtube channel. They will do that again this year.Boozer92 said:

Let's just not have another 17 inning game where I stay up entirely too late doing PBP.
I like my time slot staying stable. We might leave early from the Rice game so I can work the next morning, though…but I did take both Friday and Monday off just in case!!!Fairview20 said:
I'm sure it's because of the other teams' travel requirements but the Sunday game vs Rice being the late game is a bummer. A Sunday afternoon game would be a great crowd but since it's going to end late I doubt that many people end up going, even the locals.
Excited for Friday night though.

I'll never forget that 2017 TCU game… the game before (I think lsu vs Baylor) ran late and ours didn't start until 8:30. Then it went 15 innings and a loss. Brutal

I get why A&M plays the late games, but to me it's annoying to make them play all 3. My wife wants to take the kids, but it sucks for two reasons...
1. you get home late
2. If a previous game(s) runs long you have to sit and wait for god know how long before the final game starts. could end up being there until 11pm or later.

After watching the last out in 2016 and then the shaky start to 2017, my playoff hopes were living/dying on that game all 15 innings. I was certain the season was over after we lost and then fell to Baylor. Not as certain as Maroon Dawn
Still crazy to think that team made it to Omaha.
You don't have to live in the Houston area. I have Space City as part of my FuboTV package.Quote:
If you live the Houston area the entire slate of games will be shown on the Space City Home Network
Good reminder. Make sure you have the MLB ballpark app or whatever on your phone before going.ensign_beedrill said:I tried to buy at the gate two years ago.
