Are you allowed to bring DSLR cameras (within clear bag) into the ballpark?

Was hoping to bring mine to the Sunday game. Lens is only 6 inches long.

So…you can call ahead. They might have restrictions on lens sizes but I even doubt that if you clear it first. Though if it reaches across Wellborn it's probably a no.

Can I carry cameras, binoculars, phones, or tablets separately from what I put in a clear bag?

Yes. Fans can continue to carry permitted items in their pockets or hands such as keys, phones, wallets, makeup, etc. if you choose not to put them in a clear bag or clutch. The Prohibited Items have not changed, only how items are carried into the athletic venue. Camera or binocular cases will not be allowed. Stadium seats and cushions smaller than 16", sealed plastic bottles of water (1 per person), and blankets are still permitted and can be carried.

so 6" or less seem to be ok, but i know people have posted before they've been turned away. So how long is your lense, if it's longer than 6" i'd wrap up in blanket or put in coat pocket

Depends on who is measuring the "6"" lol.

"Inches" is a very odd unit of measurement for a lens.

I've had security flag me for my camera a couple times. One threatened to call the police on me. His supervisor had to tell him I was fine to go in.

Another time, I was absolutely barred from entry with my 6" lens and had to go back to my car and leave it.

So it really depends on if you get someone who actually knows the rules, lol.
