This thread reminds me of Chestnut getting to first base, WHY ISN'T HE ON THIRD YET!!!

Why don't we have a pitching coach yet, Earley has had the job for almost 30 mins already!!!!

Yeah I hear ya, he looked like a golden retriever at the t.u. presser. I don't know how I feel about it, but he was a heck of a pitching coach, has good player relationships, and taking another bite out of Schloss would be nice…but I dunno.

Longley is coming as hitting coach. Kendall said a Power 5 HC is going to be his top assistant, so it has to be a pitching coach.

Look, when a head coach leaves and takes you with him, you go. The new coach usually doesn't keep the old staff. It's a guaranteed job, albeit a reluctant one sometimes. I would take every single one of the assistants that left.

Tracey Smith? Current HC at Michigan who was HC at ASU when Earley was there, though their pitching wasn't great.

This was my primary thought. That, and rumors that he was in on the tu recruiting prior to the team making it back to CS.

Also, Early as HC when he was working along side of max could create problems? Let's see who Early wants.

Our pitching staff all want five minutes with Weiner in a locked room, and it ain't for a friendly reunion.

He's likely to get earholed in pregame warmups next year when they come to CS.

He already knows who he wants, calls have been made, offers accepted, and some coaches need to inform their respective educational institutions that they are headed to College Station. Not everybody does things like the classless clowns in Austin.

That was my thought. Smith is an offensive coach so if it is him, I would expect someone else to be pitching coach

Rob Childress is working as a pitching coach at Nebraska.

As much as I miss watching pitchers go from no change up to a + or ++ change up while they're here…RC makes zero sense

So our pitching coach last year got hired away to LSU. Personally I was happy with that because I felt our pitchers got worse under him. Then we go out and get Weiner. Home run hire. Then he did what he did.

So just go out and find the next Max Weiner. They are out there.

On RC, I had always heard when he was let go he moved back to Nebraska because he really liked living there.

Let's go out and hire the best qualified people and people that really want to be here. They are out there.

How many pitchers have you heard demanding that we get him back? That should say something.

Yeah makes sense. Washington moving to the no baseball conference and he has to be on the hot seat after two season of blah.

Hey, at least he's beat the s*** teams on his schedule.

Looks like Kelly's 2022 base pay as the HC was $278k per OpenPayroll

Any thoughts on Anderson at Tennessee or Roszel at Kentucky? I think Roszel's dream job was Kentucky so maybe nothing there. I also wonder if Posey is an option even though I hesitate to ask on past experience we have had with FSU hires. Last one of my 4 thoughts is OkieState's Walton, but again... Walton is back at his Alma Mater and it seems former OkieSt players who return to coach, die there.

I don't see Anderson leaving TV. He's also a blowhard so I'm ok going another direction.
