It makes so much sense that we'll never do it. When's the last time A&M made a move like this? No, I fear we'll hire a "safe", boring coach who put us in 6 regionals, 2 supers, and 0 CWS over the next decade.

WTF these guys are all in tsip uniforms less than 48 hours from Omaha allowing the press to call them sip coaches and were considering taking them back?
In addition none of them called schlossdick out for his actions now or previously?

Earley was the one coach that was blindsided by the move. He only followed to guarantee a job… which most would.

Don't go the retread route, take a chance on a young up and coming assistant who is ready to take the next step!

No problem with hiring a young up and coming guy our players love. Don't break the bank and have a reasonable exit strategy. That was Vitello 7 years ago.

I have gone from left to right field on this but now am convinced this is the best move for A&M from multiple perspectives. Especially, if we maintain the roster and then proceed to kick their arses in austin next year.

I love that thought. But more importantly, do believe Earley is a up and comer. You dont have to give him a huge, long contract, etc.

And I would be ok with even Weiner coming back. Seems far more upside with him, considering the love and recognition he has received as a pitch coach in short order. Even for just 1-2 years to allow Easley to establish himself. Unless he was preplanning far in advance like Schloss & CDC did. That would suprise me. More like.....Schloss just told more lies to get what he wanted.

I truly wonder if ALL the assistants have immense regret after seeing all the natl media fallout and how everything went down in a very bad look. Bad for character development for sure. And Schloss masterminded it all through intention and willful deceit. Seems to be his MO. Use people.for gain.....

I guess the devil is in the details of whats not been made public between him and the players post game 3, the flip to sipville, and what was disclosed in his interview.

It would hurt the sips a lot to take back Earley and for that reason alone it would be freakin awesome
