I don't know how much faith I put in McKeever, but O'Connor would be an excellent hire. Don't know that there's any symmetry, but O'Connor was the first name in Kendall's paywall article.

did think it was interesting in Kendall's interview that he said something like "there's one name... I won't mention it." but then did go on to talk about O'Connor, O'Sullivan, etc.

Yeah, I feel like the first choice is the one name he won't say.

So who is another top coach that he didn't mention? Godwin? Jarrett?

Both at their alma mater. You might could get Godwin to leave for the SEC, but Jarrett isn't going anywhere

On a D1 Baseball podcast today, he shot down prospect of it being the Clemson coach and praised the Clemson AD for the upcoming extension to keep him

Don't know but Kendall said there was a name he wouldn't mention. There are some names that are better kept out of the limelight because you don't want the other side to find out and try and change their mind. I'm guessing here.

Rather have the UVA Coach than Bama's coach. Better track record. The ACC is in some turmoil right now and the job at A&M would be much more stable.
