I'm not the biggest Aggie Baseball Fan. I went a few times in college, but now I'll catch a few games and definitely follow the regionals plus. I also stay up with this board. The reason I say this is that I feel I'm pretty in tune with things, but I 100% thought Schloss was in his early to mid sixties. So the swinger and coed stories really tossed me.

i'm 46 and he looks like he could be my dad. then again, i also look young.

I went into a deep dive last night to see how many coaches won their first CWS at 60+ years old for the same reason as op and was surprised to find out after all that he's in his early 50s.

According to my buddy who saw him do it, he pours beers into cups for himself in the dugout immediately after the game. Is that normal in college baseball? Maybe it was in the MLB in the 1970's when they were burning heaters in the dugout...but college? While little kids are playing on the field?

I am sure he doesn't stop there...he's probably just getting the nightly party started. Looks and sounds like he chain smokes too. He is a very rough looking 53 for sure.

Oh yeah, still watch it on MeTV whenever I can. I do that all the time...think about how much older people used to look.

Back in the day walking through the Texas capitol with folks, it was fun to look at the class portraits and see how much older people, including some people who were still serving, looked before plastic surgery and hair transplants.
