I'd take the Oregon coach, he was a great coach, players loved him and he'd beat the crap out of the new DH tu coach in a heart beat. And yes, I mean physically.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Do you know that for a fact? It's not "illegal" but if Schloss was sitting down with our current players and actively recruiting them to Texas he is in breach of contract. If it can be proven that this occurred while A&M was competing in the CWS, he is likely in breach of another section of the contract. Lastly, if Texas encouraged him to recruit players to Texas, there is a potential tampering claim.

You don't know jack. None of us do. That's what "discovery" would do. It would also dampen Texas' entrance to the SEC (similar to what they did to us yesterday) and make Schloss' life a PIA while he's trying to start a new job. We don't even have to win any suits…just do enough to put a microscope on Texas (and college athletics in general).

Some of us like to fight back. If you want to take it laying down on your back…okay.

If the SEC puts them in our division they should be held as accomplices for any damages.

Vitello ain't coming for sure.
LSU's Jay Johnson is worth trying by unlikely would go.
Florida coach…unlikely after our idiots insulted him on tv.
Oregon coach hasn't proven anything.
Kentucky coach hasn't proven anything.
Fsu coach is an FSU alumni.

Kentucky coach finished second in sec and made it to mcws for first time in program history. Also two super regionals and another second place finish in sec his first season.

That's a pretty reasonable resume.

Right. Most likely there isn't enough evidence to prevail on a claim for tortious interference, if there even is one to be made in the first place. But file suit, do some (lots) of discovery, and make it all public record. Put 'em under oath and make them swear they had no negotiations and no verbal agreements until the season was over.

Only your first pick because I think you make him say no after Tony V. The rest are hell no, meh, he ain't leaving, and I wouldn't hate it but color me skeptical.

They would have to either perjur themselves or admit what they really did.
Could lead to something fun to watch.

Trev probably already has an up and coming high school coach teed up for the job so he can save us some money.

Schloss is a tough loss. The dude can coach. However, I don't want a person like him within 50 miles of my school. Good riddance. Sometimes 'the perfect hires' work out but most times they don't. Harbaugh worked out, over time, at Michigan. But Scott Frost, Shaka Smart, Tom Herman, Coach O, Matt Doherty, Fran, BCG, etc did not. Trev has to earn his money over the next few days.

The situation is going to get worse before it gets better. With his whole staff going with him to tu, I would expect no less than five of our players in the transfer portal.

I read yesterday that we may be interested in the Oklahoma head coach.
