So, my wife walked into my study a minute ago and stood there silently until I looked up. She said to me, "What do we do without our boys tonight?" I sat there and didn't have an answer for her. You see, these young men were so much more than athletes who attended Texas A&M who happened to play baseball. Over the season we watched them hit, field, joke, laugh, and mature into the young men on their knees in prayer before taking the field for each game. Last night was the final time that we will see them like that again, and my wife and I are so grateful for all that they have given to these two older AGS. Finally, I got up, hugged her and told her that we won't ever be without our boys. they are FAMILY. They will live on in our hearts and we will cherish the memories that each one of them has unselfishly given to us.
We pray that their lives flourish in all that they undertake, and that they will never forget the season of 2024 and the 12th Man. We are the AGGIES, the AGGIES are we, true to each other as AGGIES can be. Gig'Em Mark and Marsha Fairchild '70.
