Really impressed by the UK coach and can't imagine that he will stick at UK very long with the success he has had. Hope he doesn't get poached by the sips, cause he a guy I wouldn't want to have to have that kind of hate for.

He has plenty. In many ways he is Tony V lite without the consistent success.
If sippie poaches Mingione from UK they'll be looking for a new baseball coach five years from now.

Tony V is a good interview also. I hope he has turned over a new leaf but was bombastic and unnecessarily confrontational when he first got the job at Kentucky.SHSU-AG said:jkag89 said:

I didn't get that vibe from his presser. Seemed like a really good dude.
Interesting. Don't really know much about him. I'd be ok then with him going to Austin and causing some fall-outjkag89 said:

IMO it would be the wrong move for both. I think Mingione is a good coach but he was given a very long leash at UK. He had a very successful year his first season (2017) but then missed the NCAA Tourney until last season. I'd be very surprised if he is one of the coaches t.u. is considering in that he has not had a long enough resume of consistent success but who knows they may be wowed by what he accomplished this season.StinkyPinky said:Interesting. He's easy to root for given his success and show of genuine good sportsmanship. Diametrically the opposite of the Tennessee coach.AgBQ_95 said:

Look up his back story. I actually would be surprised if he did not stay knowing it.
No doubt, but as stupid humans its our job to react to first impressions. But your wisdom is sound and true.Luke The Drifter said:
I don't know the first thing about Mingione, but you absolutely cannot tell anything about who a person really is based on staged interviews. Remember, folks like Joe Paterno, Chris Beard, Bobby Petrino, Urban Meyer, Hugh Freeze, and Dave Bliss were all media darlings at one point.
