Professional gamblers feel pretty good about A&M. Said it comes down to Pager being such a favorite in game one that the only chance Oregon has is to tank game 1 and go all in on winning games 2 and 3.

Oregon is a far cry from SEC-level competition. I am extremely confident in the Ags.

Nope...the ducks are going to come in fired up ready to make a statement. It's baseball and funky stuff happens. Ags need to play their best this series

Let's face it, none of us knows. Baseball's too quirky.

Oregon's rpi is 39 compared to 41 for ULaLa and 47 vs sip.

The Aggies rolled the Cajuns but the tu game cost us all a few months of life.

I'm guessing the Ducks haven't played before a crowd like they're going to see in Olsen. I'll bet that's going to be a bigger factor than the heat.

My point in posting it was to point out that pundits tend to have bias views but gamblers just want to make money. It was interesting hearing this point of view.

All the pundits I've listened to have been giving Oregon a significant chance to pull off the upset but this professional gambler thought A&M was possibly the heaviest favorite based upon his models and breaking down pitching matchups for each game along with team statistics. Just another take to consider.

tanking game 1 is monumentally stupid when youre not even guaranteed a game 3, and history shows you have to beat prager if you want to beat A&M 2/3.

If I understood correctly, the guy in the video said Prager is starting game 1, Lamkin game 2, and Sdao game 3.
Did I hear that right? If so, is he correct?

I would have thought Prager game 1 and Sdao game 2 with game 3 TBD. But I'm not a baseball guy.

Guy has no clue about Lamkin ahead of Sdao . Shane will be throwing Game 2 ….

Playing at 1 PM is ideal for our chance of winning. If you have lived in a cool climate you may have seen even some young people fall over when it gets hot. I have.

Weather on Saturday is predicted to be 90+ . About 15 degrees hotter than what they have been playing in and probably much stronger solar effect, They are going to melt down.

At the Stanford Regional last year, I was enjoying one of the early elimination games. I was sitting in the sun and, yes, it was a little hot because of being in direct sunlight, but it wasn't terrible. It was in the high seventies. Some time between two innings, the PA announcer came over the speakers and said, "If you are feeling faint, please move into the shade and drink water."

Faint? Faint? It's 78 degrees. FAINT?? Like... you know it had to have happened to someone or maybe multiple people for them to have needed to make an announcement. And I'm not judging those people or making fun, but my thermostat is set to 76 right now.

You are correct. It will be Sdao in game 2 so he is wrong about that, but his point is the same. He doesn't believe Oregon can win game 1 which means that Oregon should do everything to stack the deck for games 2 and 3. They won't do that but he was saying that is the only way they win the series.

Their park has an official capacity of 4000. They hosted a Super Regional last year, and as I recall there was a pretty full and raucous crowd. Their website shows they are the second-highest attended games in the park's history at 4,476. Oddly, each game in the series boasts an attendance of exactly 4,476.

We'll draw a little over 7,000.

That's right. Worrying takes the surprise out of it, and where is the fun in that?

Just did a glance at Oregon's schedule. They lost a series to UC Santa Barbara--the team they beat twice in Santa Barbara on their way to sweeping the Regional--early in the season.

They won their series against Arizona State and USC (who we won three games against combined), won a series against Arizona (a regional host), and split a four-game series against Oregon State (a regional host).

I think they'll be plenty tough and definitely not to be overlooked. I do think we'll win, but they shouldn't be underestimated.

I'd be willing to bet 4476 is their max fire marshal allowable capacity.

I think the combination of heat and crowd will impact Oregon negatively tomorrow. They are capable of winning this and I think the earlier and harder the Ags strike the more it will get in their head. I expect us to be aggressive at the plate tomorrow.

Saturday at 1 o'clock it will be 15 degrees hotter than they're used to, with 10% more humidity, a higher UV index, and wind out of the south.

Just to point out, they went on the road and lost 2 games to Oregon State. The "4th" win was back at home.

They haven't won a road series against a ranked team all year.

They also won 9 road games against teams that didn't make the NCAA tournament (6 of those wins were against teams that finished season below .500).

Betting on college baseball means you have a serious gambling problem
