With NIL etc how does one go about getting player autographs?

Same as you always did. Having NIL deals does not keep them from signing stuff for fans.

Hang out near the left field gate or player exit and wait.

I know this doesn't help now, but about a week before opening day the entire team was set up at Reed Arena doing free autographs. Maybe they will do something similar next year.

Figured with NIL there would be a new avenue opposed to showing up early to the ball park or something. I want a baseball signed by the team and would be willing to pay for it. I don't have the opportunity to get up to CS the rest of the season

For the '22 season, The Warehouse had them all come in a do a thing in like May but last year it was only their NIL athletes.

Not sure what they have planned for this year.

As I understand it NIL means anyone can contact them and ask for it for money. I obviously have zero contact but if anyone does…

Autograph day in Omaha

I stood with my young son by the dugout in SC. Got 5 starters, Coach Schloss and then Cortez from the bullpen all on a game ball.

Why would we not have a better avenue for this in a time we're trying to boost our NIL? Seems like a missed opportunity

No joke, one of these events changed our lives.

I took my boys to a basketball game and the baseball team was there signing autographs. My boys, who had never played baseball, fell in love with the team - asked to play baseball - and we've both played and attended an unreal number of games since.

No other team at A&M allows you access to the players like Aggie Baseball and they've had personal heroes on each team because of it.

Don't know if its still a thing, but after Sunday games, kids can run the bases, and some players would be out doing autographs.

Did you have to use their autograph sheets or were you able to bring your own memorabilia. I have a black jersey that would look great with silver sharpied signatures.

I think they would just autograph anything you put in front of them, but I'm not completely sure on that. If you forget your silver sharpie, #14 Isaac Morton has one because he thinks he's special or something.

They used to do this after a baseball game years ago. Just one game a year, you could go down the line and get everyone's signature. Wish they still did that; I go to far more baseball games than basketball games.

They'd have schedule posters that they'd sign. I miss schedule posters, too.

Also, most players used to sign down the third base line after the game, in front of the lawn there. Do they not do that after each game anymore? I haven't been able to make a game recently.
