Has an awesome setting. They are losing to Kansas 4-1 in the bottom is 6.
That's the plan for the new stadium on Lake Bryanjmcfar_98 said:

Pepperdine?
not a popular idea but if you moved it to Midtown Bryan with the new tennis venue, you'd have a lake to back up to and a bunch of nice restaurants and barsjmcfar_98 said:
Maybe we can have a couple of guys in kayaks waiting for home run balls like SF.
Agree. We were there for both series. It was glorious.jmcfar_98 said:

Mountain lake, best of both worlds (as long as you don't mind ice cold water too much)AggieBand2004 said:

That shot is from a ridge of sorts that overlooks the park. The seating is close to the field. If the seats went all the way up to where the photo is taken, it would be a big park capacity-wise.FluAggie said:dermdoc said:Agree. We were there for both series. It was glorious.jmcfar_98 said:

It looks like it seats about 100 people. Where are the stands?
Not for baseball in the spring. Maybe I the summer time. For college baseball season, you can't beat the weather and views at Pepperdine.AggieBand2004 said:

that's about 52 more seats than they need most weeksFluAggie said:dermdoc said:Agree. We were there for both series. It was glorious.jmcfar_98 said:

I've seen the App State pictures. While it is pretty:AggieBand2004 said:
BYU, Pepperdine, and App State have to be top 3 as far as scenic views go
Yes, I'm sure the view from the stands is not a majestic. That's true about all of these places, to some extent.ensign_beedrill said:I've seen the App State pictures. While it is pretty:AggieBand2004 said:

1. You're not going to get those fall colors in baseball season. They will be bare trees for half the season.
2. The overhead views are gorgeous, but when you're sitting it the stands, I don't think you would see that much.
Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill probably wins the pine derby.jkag89 said:
Heck if we are talking a ballpark in a nice setting, how about Sam's old park behind the pine curtain. Of course you have to ignore the actual lack of real stands but still a nice place to catch a game on a sunny spring day.
