Fungo golf is a game involving two or more players in which they use fungo bats and baseballs and their object is to hit certain objects at a field. Fungo golf is played very similar to golf, where the player with the fewest strokes after a certain number of holes (typically nine or eighteen) wins the game. While there is no concrete history of how fungo golf was created, it has spread throughout America as a popular game especially with baseball players and coaches.

It's basically a made up game that has spread amongst baseball players.

I've watched all of these and haven't noticed anything different, but it's entirely possible not ALL of them are. The one Hayden is holding in this video definitely is.

At Florida, some kids who were heckling him hard about his hair. Telling him to get a haircut. Next time I see him, he's gone whole hog cutting it all off. I think those kids really got to him!

Fungo golf is not a new thing. It's been around for decades. While I don't quite consider myself an "old" I still remember being introduced to the sport by my high school coach back in the mid 90's and he said they used to play it when he was in college.

FYI, coach was a sip, so I'm hoping it wasn't a game they invented, if so it may be the best thing that's ever come out of that dump.

Played fungo golf back in late 80's / early 90's in high school and college . My high school coach introduced us to the sport " to work on our small ball / bat skills " . Been around a LONG time . Glad to see the boys sharing.

I wonder if they could use it as an NIL opportunity and charge $5-10 a ticket.

Not sure the specific NIL rules. Just looking for ways to improve A&M's baseball NIL program.
