34 runs. It's funny, I thought I recalled watching the whole game, but maybe they let us take BP to score more for fun. Can't believe I missed 17 runs in one inning…

SEC Network also had 34-4 scrolling all night long. Thought there might have been something fishy, but with our lineup anything's possible!

The Aggies scored 17 runs in the 7th inning in a Tuesday night game against Nebraska in 1989.

That 1989 team also beat tech in the Friday game in Lubbock 27-2. Then beat them 15-1 on Saturday. Only won 11-4 on Sunday. Our bats were tired.

That 1989 team won their first 3 regional games that year 23-3, 25-4 and 17-6.

We won't talk about the last 2.

In the 80's and 90's, there were some crazy college baseball scores. More common than you'd think, thanks to the aluminum bats and the type of balls they used. Gorilla Ball at it's finest.

It would be. Most runs ever scored by an A&M team is 32, back in 1936 against SMU. Largest margin of victory is 29 runs, dating back to 1991 against Westmont (31-2).

Since 1997, the most runs scored by one team in a game featuring 2 D1 teams is Nebraska over Chicago State 50-3 back in 1999.
