Anybody hearing any rumblings of what the ticket/donation prices will be for this year?

That trails getting leading donors and upfront pledges. They do not want to fully fund with ticket prices.aTm 99 said:
It probably depends on how much the ballpark renovation costs...
Not really. That was just to get the ticket revenue up to what our peers bring in. They could double or triple seat prices and donations, and that would just partially cover the cost of servicing the kind of debt that would be required to transform Olsen into what we want it to be. It's going to take some major donations to do that, instead.aTm 99 said:
I figured that was what the "required donation" was being earmarked for when they tacked it on top of the ticket prices.
I expected twk to mention pledges are used for selling bonds since they represent a form of committed proceeds. So pledges lead to sizing bond packages which pay for both immediate construction (think construction bridge loan if you're your own general contractor) and long-term payoff of what we could call amortized delayed payments. It's not a great time to go to the bond market to borrow and you're fighting relatively high nominal interest rates on various savings and investment instruments/accounts. All of this can make lining up donations harder.twk said:Not really. That was just to get the ticket revenue up to what our peers bring in. This link has very good comments by Bjork at about the 28th minute mark. It's worth the effort to scrub to the 28th minute and listen to his entire framing of the current situation. The short version is they have more work to prep for lead donations to make sure they can build what they want and have commitments for a significant proportion of the campaign before announcing it. It then will take multiple seasons to do the upgrades being considered.12th Man Ag said:
Is there an official fund-raising campaign going on for the Olsen renovation? Are they going to publicize something?
And well they should when we play them.W said:
the TMF is waiting for the 3-game home series vs. the sips to pop up on the 2025 schedule...
then prices are going up
It's coming very soon.12th Man Ag said:

I need some controversy so some people get pissed and don't renew.

Ticket prices going up is going to happen. Whether that is this year or next, it is coming.
I am just ready for them to announce the plans for the stadium. I want to get on board with the giving to get this right, but don't understand the TMF process to be a part of a specific campaign.

From what I heard this weekend, they are getting close. Currently pricing it out. There was still some words like "we would like to do x" so I'm guessing there are a couple of options depending on how much everything will cost and how much they expect to be able to raise.
After that, they would go to the BMAs for the private part of the fundraising. Probably still a few months before we start the public phase of asking smaller donors to chip in and show off the design publicly.
Don't want to price it so high that you drag the capital campaign out and can't get the project started after next season. I seem to recall from other projects you need some % of funds committed before BOR will give the go ahead to start construction.

I called. I just want to make sure they don't take my money and then when the campaign is announced they tell me that I'll need to make another donation.
What is the price tag of what we are going to be able to get done? $30MM?
Every bit of 75 probably.Bullpen Chias said:12th Man Ag said:

At least $60M in reno. I bet $75.

The highly anticipated part is will it include a reseating like they did at Kyle? I'd rather it be a steep increase than a total reseat.
