That was an amazing play by the Georgia SS. I don't know about the call, but that was a hell of a play to get to that ball and an even better one to get a good throw with something on it.

That makes 4 runs (at least) we've been clearly screwed out of.

I TIVO'd and replayed. He was safe by a half step. We got robbed again.

Tie: Maybe. Half step: no way in hell.

The runner was clearly out.

Don't let visual proof affect your judgement now, Ags.

Explain to me how there was anything "clear" about that play.

Oh, one more thing. Only a sip would b***h about a call like that when they are outscoring their opponents by as much as you guys are this week.

If you think the game is over, you are crazy. FYI - you need every run you can get in Omaha, Ags.

Get real man. This guy gets in any trouble and here comes Street. Lights out, game over. Five runs is more than enough with that guy on the mound.

I've been wondering the same thing.

Do you really have to ask that? Have you never been to hornfans?

I've never been to Hornfans. Don't really care to.

Never been to hornfans because I don’t care what’s being posted on some other school’s fan site and don’t really understand why fan’s of another school would want to spend an inordinate amount of time on this site instead of their own site other than perhaps during the week before we play them.

I’ve always just assumed that they must be considered rejects by their own kind or that they must wish they had gone to A&M instead.

Some are a-holes looking to get their jollies by dealing in flamebait.

Some are interested in opinions of people who are outside the program but enough of a rival to know the program.

I've been over here for 3 years because (a) this is the best Big XII site, and (b) it has the Rivalries board, which is populated by fans of many schools, and therefore diverse opinions.

Assumptions are challenged here, but a well-reasoned argument has a chance of getting some good discourse. On Hornfans, any dissenting voice is drowned in the deluge of the blindly faithful...usually with the riposte of a foul-mouthed 6 year old throwing a tantrum.

Lots of good posters on the baseball and rivalries fora, although nitwits exist here, too.

Sorry if that doesn't hold with your assumptions.

So the fans of the institution that touts it's self as as a beacon of adversity, tolerance, openness and acceptance reject you and your diverse opionions?

Seems pretty much in line with my assumption.

But see, that's true of at least one of the fora on this site too. The difference is the Rivalries forum. The numerical advantage of the host is not so overwhelming there.

You can have a reasonable baseball discussion at HornFans. You cannot have a reasonable football discussion there. Nor, for the most part, can you have one here...except (sometimes) on Rivalries.

There are good posters on HornFans, but they can't seem to get a word in edgewise with all the juvenile chest-beaters there.

The runner was safe. The runner's foot was on the bag when the ball reached the 1st basemans mitt. It was extrememly close thus a difficult call. Augie had a beef.
