What's the next popular "look"?

Knickers will always be cool, but that dad seems to be fading in favor of "dirty mids" (what we wore in the late 80's and 90's.) including stirrups.

We've seen recent fads of:
- Red, White, Blue
- Military look
- Powder Blues
- Pink accents
- Cream uni's.

What's the latest? If our organization in Kansas City wants to stay ahead of trends, what should we do?

Personally, I hate this new trend of dark pants and overly monochromatic uniforms in baseball.

Cream and powder blue pants are fine, even great, if they suit your color scheme, but dark pants look way too much like a softball uniform. Auburn went from one of the best uniform sets in baseball to a significant downgrade this year with the ugly all-blue uniforms and by removing white outlines from their orange and blue jerseys. It just makes everything uglier and harder to read.

Vanderbilt's regular black jerseys with white pants combo is one of the best uniforms in college baseball, while the all-black pinstripes they wear are one of the ugliest.

Just make sure the youth uniforms match the championship rings every team is awarded at the end of the tournament.

I think the uniforms look cool. I like the black socks with blue stripes. They look cool. (I'm a fan of striped socks to begin with.) I'm not a big fan of dark pants, but I love the knee-high look and showing off socks. That is cool. That will always be cool. The best uni is the first one.

Not sure how it triple posted. I did post on Aggie baseball board and MLB board.

I think light blue with black pin stripes for us would be cool. I'm most curious about the next big look.

Kinda like buying a car in first year that body style came out…it looks new longer.

Coach is thinking cream unis similar to Vandy's.

I like black pants with light colored stirrups and jerseys. All black looks like pj's to me. I don't like an all maroon look either.

I like the white with the thicker maroon piping on the pants I do think Kentucky's uniform is nice though.

Orioles uniforms really sucked yesterday. Black tops and pants....pants down to the shoes..... colorful, stupid stuff as their City Connect display.....BALTIMORE instead of Orioles.



I could not find a full length picture, but the pants look like a guy wearing his black dress pants to church....not like baseball at all..... just my opinion.

Based on the colors, I can't help but think of North Carolina. I love what they do with their baseball uniforms, particularly their use of navy along with the light blue. The navy socks, belt, piping, and hat along with the light blue jersey (third from right in the below picture) is one of my favorite unis out there.
