Ole Miss wins on a walkoff 3 run homer in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs. Both runners on base were there after being hit by pitches.
Can pretty much say goodbye to any chance of hosting. Last two weekends have been awful against bottom feeders
I turned this game on because there was nothing else to watch. The ending alone was terrible enough, but the pace of play in softball is unwatchable. They stop play for every batter…even in the middle of ABs

The thing about the SEC is the "bottom feeders" referred to here being South Carolina and Ole Miss are top 30 RPI teams that will be in the NCAA tourney.
The only teams not ranked 29 or higher in the RPI are Mississippi St. (#50) and Missouri (#51).

Terrible game all around. Starting pitcher awful, infield defense awful. Hitting inconsistent. And to top it off, the HC pulls an Evans and replaces the 2nd pitcher with what I assume is a young, inexperienced on, who gives up the walk off.
If we think for one second this is a good offensive approach, we are wrong. Harger had gotten away with being a hitting coach in the desert. Period. Welcome to the SEC where all coaches can coach at the next level. We are getting out coached left and right offensively.
You can't win at this level if you can't hit. It's simple.
Trinity Cannon made some bad decisions tonight. Cotrill missed a lot of routine balls she usually catches. They were not prepared for tonight. Not sure there is any possibility left of hosting a regional, even if they win out.

Your observations aren't worth much when you talk about how the hitting coach is some kind of fraud that was exposed by SEC pitching, as if the Pac 12 is a conference for scrubs, and post about last years offense in glowing terms when it pretty much was pedestrian.

I'm making a point. We are literally only better in one part of the game. Now, that aspect wins more big games.
