Shouldn't it be about that time? Interested to see where prices shake out and if a required donation will be attached to all tickets this year?

I was wondering when those would start myself. Last year was the first year we had season tickets and boy what a year to have them finally lol.

They are being mailed out this week.

I've been expecting an increase, and what I've seen is reasonable given last year's success and more importantly the demand for Aggie baseball reserved seats far outstrips the supply right now.

We just moved back to town and added our name to the bottom of the waitlist. Going to be a lot of demand I'm sure.

That's a long list. I'm afraid you'll need to wait for the stadium expansion project and I've been told that won't happen for a minimum of two seasons.

The only way I could get 4 semi close to each other was the left field bleachers and I wasn't willing to buy out there.

Yeah, and adding to existing seats is tough. I had 3 and wanted 4. I was able to snag the lone extra in our section, but it is 4 rows in front of the other 3. A hard sell to someone wanting 4 together.

I'm aiming for retiring in nine at 71. Then I have to see if my wife is GM with a local warehouse store or not. If she is I do what she wants. If she isn't I might buy something modest in B/CS and make my friend Cathy Ruedinger go to games with us. If you know Aggie Baseball or KAMU-TV from "back when" you might remember her at pre-BBP Olsen. I got to talk to her about a month ago and she's staying busy though retired.

When my son was at a baseball camp and talking to Yeskie he said probably start in 18 months, so that would fall in line with the 2 seasons. He said they wanted to finish the indoor track facility and the football facility before they started on the baseball stadium.

Yes, if the donations come in as they hopefully expect, I'd expect the current ballpark to stay intact for the 2023 and 2024 seasons and then have the renovated stadium in 2025.

If we go to the CWS again I expect a great discussion about a full rebuild.

Haha everyone calm down because they're not great but it's all I could get in my first year of season tickets. I have 2 bleacher seats together and 2 reserved singles in different sections. I'm looking to end up with 2 reserved seats together as my final result so I probably will drop the bleachers and try to get 2 together in reserved or move 1 single closer to my other seat. So my 2 3rd base bleacher seats will come open.

Someone may pay you the donation and ticket fee for the two bleacher seats though, it doesn't put them back in the lottery.

So, it sounds like prices are going up. Know anything about a donation required per ticket?

Ah ok. Well this is my first baseball renewal so that's interesting to know. Thanks for telling me.

Ticket prices will remain the same. There will be a required donation. For those in the lower level, it will roughly double your cost. Different areas of the stadium will require different donation levels…obviously the better the seat the larger the donation.

Interesting. I wonder if a doubling of cost will result in any not renewing?

Sounds dumb. First complain about wanting a new coach and then on principle not paying for him or funding the build out of more seats. No wonder our school is so incongruous.

I can't guarantee anyone will do it, but it sure wouldn't surprise me!

Cool, we can go hire Childress back, cancel plans to upgrade, remove the bleacher and zone 12 seats- but keep the ticket prices where they've (or lower) and have no donation. Perfect!

I've always been pleasantly surprised that my seats came without a 12th Man donation- and absolutely knew their would be one after last year's awesome season .

I know that I will probably split off most of my weekday tickets (except t.u.), but will need to see how everything shakes out with the renewals.

My parents would be VERY interested in buying your weekday tickets, most likely.

If this is of interest, can we exchange emails?

I will have a package of weekday and Friday games to sell as well. With a kid playing HS baseball, it makes getting to Aggie games tougher.
