Wish there was another option for those of us who aren't local. I've been a member several times but have never actually attended a luncheon as I live in DFW and only make it down for a series or two a year.
I'm guessing that since the luncheon's are extra for the first few levels, that they consider those plans available for anyone regardless of location.

That is the option, lunches cost extra. So you can join for $500 then you don't have to pay for the lunchesAggieFrog said:

Even if you can't be present, the Dugout Club is a great investment in the team. The money is used for off budget items. Last season we were shown a $30K $40K sw/hw package for data analytics- that was paid for by Dugout Club donations. Basically, there is a camera and antenna mounted above the press box, it captures every pitch, hit, fielding play and sends it to a server somewhere. The next day the coaches can log in see graphically all of that data- the demo was very interesting. There are others items also.
I guess I look at it not from a cost increase, what do I personally get from it, etc. but rather as an investment in helping our team get better, more competitive, more successful, etc.

I don't want to sound dumb but as a 1st year season ticket holder last year, I'm kind of interested in the Dugout Club but can someone tell me more about it? I know the money goes to Baseball duh but what all do I get for becoming a member? One luncheon? Or more? Are the players and coaches at the luncheon? Not that rewards are why you'd donate but I just would like to know. Thanks for any info.

This year lunches are $20 and you can bring a guest for $30. I enjoyed the luncheons last year and will be back this year. 1st luncheon this year is Oct 26 which coincides with exhibition game against Sam Houston on Oct 28.
As others have pointed out, this is one of the ways Schloss can raise discretionary money for the program beyond what Ross/AD give him. Software that TXAGBQ76 pointed out last year is just one of many examples. It makes a huge difference.
The $100 threshold from last year actually didn't net much if anything for the program, so they have evaluated and repriced. All levels will now net something for the program, while ensuring that it isn't a cattle call that feels impersonal. I know this wasn't done lightly.
Lunches are included in all but the two lowest levels. For those coming from out of town, like someone else said it is a great investment in the program. But if that isn't doable, I bet you can post on here the week you might be in town and someone might bring you as a guest.

I don't have a problem with them raising prices if that gets the baseball team more money, but I don't buy that they lost money on the $100 level.
This is missing some context in that we don't know what tickets are going to look like next year. I've sold Mrs LOYAL AG on an additional $1000 ($500/seat) for tickets but beyond that I'd have to revisit with her. I doubt tickets go that high before the remodel but I hate being nickel and dimed to deal. If this is $500 or more and tickets go up $200 each I'm in but if tickets are up $500 each I'll have to talk to her on this one. Haven't been in Dugout Club in years but I'd like to rejoin. Anyone hear any rumors on ticket prices?

I loved this past year. Was my first. Hate to see the donation going up so much but I'll likely bite the bullet. Very, very worthwhile get togethers. Coaches are genuine and will talk with you as well as players. Really connects you to the program.
Are the lunches better than they were a few years ago with Levy catering?

They hire I think global events group to do them now, NOT levy. Much better food.
