I will be in Chicago with my son this weekend. Looking for sports bar recommendations preferably in the north river area to watch Friday's game.

Thanks in advance....!

I'd watch on TV or at least radio. Watching from Chicago might be possible from the observation deck of the KMart Tower or the Hankook Building, but the players and field would be too small to see.

Timothy O'Tooles on Fairbanks, maybe. I was there a little over a month ago and it was crowded on a friday night with several MLB and NBA games going. I was on Chicago for work.

Chicago A&m club watches football games at The Pony inn in Lakeview. You'd expect some folks to be there for Friday's games as well.

I would recommend a bullet proof bunker.

Why? I hear guns are illegal in Chicago!

The Pony is the official A&M bar in Chicago. If you're In the loop, I liked Jake Melnicks for food and drink.

Jake Melnicks is not in the loop - but close. It's off of the Magnificent Mile in Near North/Gold Coast. Mother Hubbards is a solid sports bar right in the heart of River North.

The Pony is the Aggie bar, but it is up in Lakeview and not close to River North. That being said, you could watch it with other Aggies and it is a great neighborhood. Just would require an Uber or taking the train.

Hopefully you guys are going to Wrigley at some point during the weekend as well.
